Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use tickets.mohbel.com or the Ximbal app, run by Blanco Mohbel Communications ("B·Mohbel", "we"). By creating an account or booking a ticket you agree to them.

What we do

B·Mohbel is a ticketing platform. The bus trips themselves are operated by independent Belizean bus companies. Each company is responsible for its schedules, buses, staff and the trip itself; we sell and verify tickets on its behalf.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older and give accurate details, including a real email address you can verify.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for bookings made with your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete Account.

Tickets and payment

• Fares are in Belize dollars and are shown before you pay.
• Card payments are processed by Belize Bank on its own page. A ticket is valid only once we have confirmation of payment from the bank.
• Show your ticket's QR code, or its ticket number, to the conductor when you board.
• Changes, refunds and missed buses follow the policy of the bus company operating your trip. Contact us and we will pass your request to them.

Reservations

• A reservation holds a seat without payment. It needs a verified email and a linked Ta'ab card or a reservation ID (Social Security card or passport), and is limited to one adult one-way seat per travel day, up to 7 days ahead.
• Pay for it in cash at a terminal before the deadline shown in the app, or to the conductor when you board. The seat is released once the bus leaves your stop.
• Cancel any reservation you will not use. Three reservations that are neither paid nor cancelled block new reservations for that card or ID, including on any new account.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service: no reselling tickets, holding seats you do not intend to use, interfering with the service, or using someone else's account, Ta'ab card or ID. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but schedules and live bus locations come from the bus companies and can change. To the extent Belizean law allows, B·Mohbel is not liable for delays, cancellations or losses arising from the trip itself; your rights against the bus company are not affected.
